Your child's oral health
Your child should brush with a fluoride toothpaste at least twice a day.
Brushing teeth and using dental floss before bedtime is particularly important for children, to eliminate the presence of cavity-causing bacteria and sugars during the night.
Children under the age of two should use only a tiny amount of fluoride toothpaste, because they tend to swallow the extra toothpaste rather than spit it out. Children over the age of two should use a pea-sized amount of toothpaste.
What are cavities?
A cavity attacks the tooth's enamel and progresses inside the tooth, causing localized decay of the enamel, dentin and dental pulp. A diet rich in sugary foods, and, most importantly, poor oral hygiene, can lead to cavities.

For a healthy smile!
Brush your teeth thoroughly in the morning, after each meal, and before bedtime, for at least two and a half minutes.
Use dental floss daily, particularly before you brush at night.
Visit your dentist regularly, at least every six months.
Healthy snacks are better snacks…
Some snacks are better for your teeth than others. Cheese, yogurt, vegetables, and fresh fruit are excellent choices. Choose foods that are safe for your teeth. Sugary or sticky foods are best eaten at mealtimes or when you can brush your teeth afterwards.

To his surprise, the milk was gone, replaced by a white semi-solid substance. Weary and very hungry, the traveller sampled the strange contents of his pouch. "Not bad," he thought. "Not bad at all!"
